Cohiba Behike 54
Box: BTO MAY 13
The look, feel and overall construction of these cigars is divine

The cigar itself was tightly packed

I am an avid fan of the punch cut, after advice from a fellow BOTL (member: wolfie)

Upon lighting, the draw was perfect and free.
Initial thoughts: mild, bitter subdued caramel, masses of lush thick smoke, easy to retrohale

This experience remained consistent. The burn line was very even.
It's been a while since I've had such a tidy burn line

It was intriguing to see the the small glow of the burn, almost like a fuse working its way to ignite a bomb, working its way around the cigar slowly!

Strength wise the cigar picked up a tad progressing to medium, but then too & throwed between mild and medium.
Flavours didn't develop as much as I would've thought with this robust sized cigar.
I've worked my way through a box of BHK52's over the past year and have noted how some are better than others.
So I'm guessing, and hoping that'll be the case with the box of 54's I purchased recently.

Nearing to the end, the cigar just stayed consistent:
Mild to medium, medium in places, not bags and bags of flavour but very very enjoyable nevertheless.
It was a pleasure to retro hale this, as I've found the case with all the Behikes I've smoked...
Drink wise, this is best paired to something sweet. I was on the Ron Zacapa, as I am currently out of my favourite
sweet alcoholic beverage. But in future will stick to a sweet liqour. It's hard to put your finger on the exact flavours
of a Behike, but they can be somewhat subdued, is the only way of putting it. But the overall experience to me anyway
makes this a pure pleasure. Paired to a sweet beverage, for me, this is heaven...

Smoking time was approx 1hour and a quarter, although could've gone on a little longer.
I enjoyed smoking this and found it hard to put down for long.
BHK 52's normally take me an hour give or take.
The 54 could easily go an hour and a half.
