A HdM Epricure No.2 followed by a Montecristo Petit Edmundo followed by a Ramon Allones 8-9-8 during a cigar dinner at Hotel du Vin Winchester...

Superb evening with fantastic food, wine, cognac, company and of course Cuban cigars...

Hoyo PR stood at the bbq. Didnt start off too well but gave it a chance and turned out to be a fine stick. Smoked it down to two big lumps of ash.

Hotel du Vin in Winchester had a whole box in the humi and this was what was selected for the last smoke of the evening...

Once the box had been opened and nearly all smoked (and I'd been gifted two more to go home with as the wife wasn't smoking ) I infromed the bar manager (the guy who organised the evening) that the Ramon Allones 8-9-8 had been discontinued in 2002 and was now very hard to find...

You should have seen the look on his face...
