It is absolutely foul in East Kent today. I'm tired of feeling the cold and noticing it get dark earlier. We don't like setting up and packing down the band kit in this weather.
I haven't smoked around my in-laws. They know I 'like a cigar', but they are clean folk I would taint with this bad habit.
Had a Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto earlier, nice cigar, the weather not exactly conducive to smoking outdoors. Bitterly cold here in the North west corner of Ulster.
Can you recommend some short-ish, strong cigars, please?
I've been thinking about this since Larry's Padron 1926 send.
I often don't have quality time for, say, a robusto, but would like to "do better" than Villigers, if you get my drift.
So... Recommendations for good ring-sized punchy short-ish smokes.
Preferably Havanas, please.

Put this in another thread if you want to, Andy.
Well you can try Corona/ petit corona sizes, i quite like the partagas, fonsecas, H.upmanns , montecristo no4's punch coronas, bolivar junior coronas, por laranaga Petit coronas. & R&J Coronas.
Smoked a Saint Luis Rey Double Coronas,a Punch Double Coronas and a Bolivar Inmensas today from my latest Montesmoke order.
Punch double is a great smoke the other two were good as well but the Punch is the winner for me

What about HOYO PETIT ROBUSTO's and MONTECRISTO PETIT EDMUNDO???
Or for something really special - PARTAGAS SERIE D NO.5 LIMITADA EDICION 2008
A rare NC for me yesterday: a Cambaiguan Guapo. 63 ex 100.
On the subject of small strong cigars:
As CIV said the Monte Petit Edmundo is bloody strong. Strongest of the marca imo. But it will take a while to smoke; as long as a regular robusto at least.
2007 Ramon Allones Small Club Coronas have been spectacular, strong and rich, with dark chocolate, fruit and spice flavours. (as well as being very reasonably priced).
