Been quite hesitant about smoking recently ,but a combination of a mornings hard work painting the decking , glorious weather and a couple of ice cold beers have convinced me it?s a day to do it. Thought I would give a go to a RASCC from Mar 16. Really enjoy these sticks, haven?t had one in a while and thought the time was right to give another a go. Really enjoying it and confirmed to me that I was right to pull the trigger on another box from from down under when the opportunity presented itself the other day.
Up way & went for my morning constitutional, along the road above the beach, in Bournemouth. Had a wee RG Cigaritos 2001, that as a 26rg, I had dry boxed for 24hrs. Draw was Cuban firm but fine, served with coffee (I carry a flask if hot water, as I do when fishing, then I can introduce coffee or a teabag to the cup).
The sun was glorious for someone who lives in a steel box for 6/12, could almost feel the Vit D being made so much nice than relying in margarine!
This are fine we 15-20min smokes but getting harder to find, as they joined the ever ending ranks of discontinued Habanos.
In the evening I cooked a BBQ, on an Asda Disposable, (my first time, would rather have bought my daughter a BBQ but they g Ave no where to store one at her flat) & it just managed to cook 3rather thick Angus burgers & half a dozen sausages. Whilst waiting the required time before putting the food on, I smoked this Party Short 2005.
What a pleasent St [emoji1022] Day, hope it was for you too?
