Friday 3rd May
My 2 year old daughter is knackered from pool antics and wants a nap. MLW wants to worship the sun. I?m minding the little one with a AF Magnum Rosado and a copy of Cigar Aficionado to keep me company. Annoyingly the burn on this is terrible and I?ll end up binning it if it doesn?t sort itself out soon. Unusual for a Fuente.
Update: burn became a huge pain in the ass so binned it and lit up a Crowned Heads Court Reserve XVIII Corona Gorda. Glad I went splits on a box with [MENTION=13402615]PeeJay[/MENTION].

A very nice RA 898 whilst marvelling over some Weird Tales from the mid 30s that I purchased yesterday. Some of them contain first publications of Robert E. Howard Conan and HP Lovecraft stories.

Finishing up with a Padron 1964 Belicoso Maduro. I brought a 1926 Maduro to compare, which with a fair wind I?ll light up tomorrow morning. Never had the 1964 before but it?s bloody delicious! Highly recommended!

To be honest John, initially it gives the impression the flavour will develop as you smoke it. Unfortunately, it kept the same profile never developed any further and was in my humble opinion just plain boring - maybe a cigar to smoke when you?re busy doing something else....Shame really, beautiful looking on the outside but a boring flavour profile

Always nice cracking into a 50 cab, these are 2015 and I've been holding off, started with a bad burn issue, quickly corrected it and is behaving itself as it should now. Lovely flavours, these will be superb as the years go by
