Kentucky Fire Cured Delfinas
In honour of all the grouse doomed to die today I sparked up a little KFC Delfinas from the tube I purchased in Nat Sherman's fine cigar emporium. These smell like bbq firelighters but fortunately don't taste the same. It started out quite tannic then got steadily smoother. Unusually for a skinny it burned perfectly all the way to the end although the ash dropped every quarter inch.

COTM for me this afternoon. No idea what it is but looking forward to trying it. The wrapper is very light in colour compared to all of the other cigars in my humi so guessing a NC.

I found a lovely Cigar friendly Pub/Inn today on the Hunters & Frankenau website, only about 9 miles from me so I paid them a visit and wasn't disappointed. The place is called The Old Inn in Holt (a couple of miles from Wimbourne Minster). Lovely rural setting, great food and a really nice covered Cigar Lounge. I spent about 4 hours there and smoked a couple...Too bad I was the only one enjoying it...

If anyone gets down Dorset way let me know, this is a really great location. The only negative point was that they didn't have any Burbon....only that Scottish Sheep Wee...
