Asia Pacific ER PL Robusto for lunch - buttery start, fruity apple-flavoured middle, slight whiff of old socks. Very pleasant, but quite mild and little development - not sure where this particular stick is going in terms of development, but not too excited by it at the moment

RyJ Cedros no3 this morning. Strong cedar throughout with aromatic undertones at the begining. My usual morning walk cigar, reliable and it did not dissapoint, setting me up for the day ahead."Come in here, dear Boy, have a cigar" ....Roger Waters (Pink Floyd)

Hoyo petit robusto
what a godsend, busy, overworked and stressed. collapsed on my collapsible festival garden trolley with a petit ro
this has been the best petit ro i've had yet. could it be due to my new cigar punch? im definitely a punch convert. great flavour, more spice than previous ones, perfect burn (easy to touch up with my new xtend) and lasted for well over an hour.
yum diddly um scrumptious!

Had a small petit corona size La Rica (cuban type) this morning. It was a little blocked - smokable but a tight draw and I didn't enoy it as well I might.
Late afternoon a cigar.com Brazilian label. I enjoyed it no end.
This evening I tried a Verdadero (Toro size) "organic" which I got as part of free 5 pack addition to my recent cigar.com Atomic Scorched Earth 60 cigar sampler pack. I'm afraid the Verdadero was blocked - very tight draw. I ran the poker through it after a while but too late of course. I should have poked it before the start (I will the other 4 of these). Actually the taste was very reasonable - quite "cuban" in character but the draw spoiled the cigar for me and I ended by just leaving it when a good 3+ inches from the end. Just had enough. Pity.

Yeh I really enjoy my cigars punched rather than cut, I find it really does concentrate the smoke onto your tongue which allows you to really taste all the flavours of the cigar.
I have also been trying the 'V' cut recently to and IMO this is also a great way to smoke a cigar, like the punch it concentrates the smoke onto your tongue, but unlike the punch cut it also allows the cigar to open up a little more and really gets the juices flowing... YUM!!!
Cheers, HabanoSy
