Managed to sneak out for one...
Dunhil 1907. Quite surprised - pleasantly so.
I was too. Didn't really get it at the herf, but had the toro on Tuesday at 1a with SilentBob and thought it was really enjoyable. Not overly complex, milk chocolate. It was a good social smoke. I'd have one again.
Well got sent away for work a fue weeks ago was only meant to be 2day max
Only packed 3cigars
Four weeks later I am back in the UK and the only thing I have in my work humidor
Is this RJY NC I must stock that up
It should keep me going for the drive home from Cheltenham
Sat on doorstep with a Monte Edmundo. Had a couple of these in Week 1 (end of Aug, when the sun was shining and the Mrs thought my decision to take up cigars meant the end of Western civilisation).
It's alright, but not as good as I remember thinking back then. I guess that's a positive - I'm broadening my horizons. Something like that anyway.
I was thinking about Montes earlier and I genuinely can't recall having enjoyed one, I just find them a bit "meh".
I don't mind them. I like the No1 and No4, but things have moved on. If you asked me 5-6 weeks ago, I'd have said it would be my favourite. Now, it's just one of a number I like.
