For the first (and hopefully last) time in my life I went to a car boot sale to sell some stuff my nan and I had stored in our lofts, I was up and 4am and am now knackered, but we raised ?280 for the only special needs school in the Gambia (which my sister visited in April) from stuff that would have otherwise take to the tip so am smoking my only one of these to celebrate
Its also my only RE from my wife's home region (she's from Lithuania)
That's a beauty, Sean! very good occasion to celebrate a noble act, too!
man have i been searching for that recently........ . put it up on your blog on how that smoked! i'm turning green with jealousy here!!
Pretty much the same as the first two, but real differentiation was difficult because of the tightness in the draw.
Ageing. Hard to say really, though everyone knows my views on RE, LE ageing .... I've little faith in any of them.
But given the price, this is a cigar you can happily smoke as a go to now and not worry about putting away for years on some off chance of improvement .... it's fine as it is!
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

weird..... Judging by how much you cut, you could've really taken off some more to ease up the draw
in fact- looks like you did. But the last third still could've used a good clipping.
keep in mind, if you put a punch cutter into a torpedo head AFTER you cut it, it can loosen the draw for another 5-10 more draws. then do it again to loosen the tobacco. that's how i smoke all my Dippy 2 nowadays
Beautiful day down South so after making a Thai green chicken curry for lunch settled down to enjoy a Don Pepin lancero from my recent haul then my son and granddaughter turned up so you'll have to wait till tomorrow for photos as I'm now at work for the night (or till 4.30am)
Isn't there a Z in Balthazar or were you trying to Anglicise it for us?
The Regionals are the ERdM Balthasars.
Funny story with that. one of my closest mates on this side is named: Balthazar. i worked my ass off getting 2 boxes of Balthasars so i've started calling him Balthasar now (on text)... much to their dismay!
A Balthazar is also a measurement of wine: 12 Litres i think...
Went for a Chinese with the missues and this little fellow was the perfect desert a principes chocolate infused smoke given to me by john seriously sweet but good after a salty dinner

This needs commenting on: you did a wonderful thing.
My plans for a lazy morning with an AB Black Market were delayed by an epic hangover (blame Carl Froch) so I'm just sat out smoking now. Celebrating the end of my holidays with Pinar Del Rio Oscuro torpedo (thanks again Rascal!)
