Finally Figured it out

Well I finally worked it out, not the meaning of life, but how to smoke a pipe
managed a whole bowl with no tongue bite It was quite good but not as relaxing as a fine cuban puro.

Well I have to say that the tobacco smells a lot better than it tastes. I may have a go at one occasionally but think I will be sticking to cigars.

I liken it to fruit teas that smell wonderful and taste like shit. I recently tried a friend's pipe with some vanilla and apricot tobacco called Melange. Smelled wonderful, tasted like ....

moving on: pipes are absolutely brilliant. But you've gotta find your zen.
i basically only smoke 3 things in pipes:
-Davidoff English / Blue
-Peterson's various blends (including Christmas. love Christmas.)
-Jeremy's homemade Cuban pipe tobacco

The latter consists of 3 things:
1. A giant stash of cigar caps from the Montreal LCDH
2. A giant stash of cigar caps from Piramides i smoke and feet i cut off from split foot cigars
3. Plugged cuban cigars

I have to agree, I have a few blends they all smell good enough to eat, but the smoke tastes nothing like the smell

yes! i have!!
Dalmore 12. infuse most of the tobacco with that and dessicate it again. smooths out the tobacco and makes it less harsh

i believe during the German era, Einstein used to collect scraps of leftover cigarettes to smoke in his pipes.

however, mine is absolutely fantastic. I have the clipped end of a Monte GR saved up and am going to love whatever accompanies that...
