I've been out of NC's for a while and I'm wondering what I've missed.
Anything decent out there?
Or upcoming on the horizon?
(And before any NC bashers wade in - please don't )

Doh!

Sure! There are plenty of fine NCs available right now - none on the horizion that I know about.
Now, when it comes to NCs, my taste tends to lean towards mild to medium; the stronger sticks tend to feel like a punch in the face, something many yanks prefer, apparently. (Sad)
I'll have to take a look in my box later today to see which NCs I've been smoking lately - but the brands I prefer tend to be A. Fuente, Davidoff, and Padron.
I'll get back with a small list of Coro NC Choices later today (unless I forget or just get lazy).

Yeah I've found the same with a lot of NC/new world cigars I've been recommended; far too strong for moi! I picked up a few when I was in CA last - will dig them out so I can remember what they were.
My recommendation is anything by the Undercrown series by Drew Estate. They are mostly around the medium-full profile with some trully interesting flavours. Particularly the Belicoso. For something stronger I love keeping anything by Nub around. CAO Colombia and Amazon Basin are also interesting NC sticks. The first is a bit creamy and earthy, the latter has hints of fruits and spices and tastes "sticky" (don't know how else to describe this). As mentioned Padrons are great too, however they can be a bit too much sometimes.
I still haven't checked my humi to make a list of Coro NCs favs, but while visiting the local SoM brick & mortar this morning, I was reminded of the latest addition to my top NCs - the Reguis Orchant 2016 Limited Edition. You can read my initial impression HERE!
They only had one box (robustos) left, so I snapped it up.
