My wife is off to Amsterdam on a couple of business trips so I'll be asking her to pick me up a few bits and pieces. Any recommendations for cheap and cheerful Dutch smokes to add to the list?
Do you mean actual dutch cigars or are REs included?
If you can still get them the RA Petit Robusto (I think they were call the Specially Selected Robusto Corto) were an excellent smoke; I have a box sleeping in my humi
Thanks sheppsea. I was after actual Dutch cigars - something small and cheap that I could light up when pressed for time or when pottering around the garage. That said, I will ask her to look out for the RA RE!
Here's ht eCRA Corto. A very fine RE indeed, I too have a cab resting & have had half a dozen singles & they just keep getting better. Possible the main LCDH will still have them, I only bought my cab a year of so ago in Belgium.

Der Olyphant are pretty nice, ranging from small to petit corona territory. They come in dandy wooden boxes, and if given some time to settle, are cheerful. I've had one that was clearly ill, but otherwise, no problems.

I've got a box of the dry Dutch cigars @Simon bolivar mentioned. Its a box of 20 half coronas that I picked up on eBay for ?4 and I take to weddings etc for people who want to try a cigar. They're actually very nice little smokes.
