No, not at all at the gala there was one table full, but mixture of Spanish speaking Chinese only and China Chinese, it was more like organised group of five and ad hoc Spanish one or two independent ones. The group was taking the most expensive stuff etc. auction and top Cohibas. Nothing unusual.

Okay, just heard from a friend who's been there recently and he had a special appointment at a LCDH at 8 in the morning when they opened at 10. When he arrived at 8 there were 2 bus loads of Chinese in line outside - 2 hours before opening 😎
