SLR regios..... thoughts please!

hey all,
i'm considering going for a box of SLR regios, most probably a young box! i love the SLR serie A, can you guys who've had the regios please share your thoughts on them, good or bad?

I really like the Regios, when I first smoked one it reminded me a lot of an SDN4 in style.

They can be a little unpredictable in construction and a few I've had have tasted completely different but on the whole the Regios is a staple smoke for me.

Quite spicy from the off with flashes of cocoa, not very complex but it hits the flavours I like.

Pretty sure I'm in the minority though, a lot of people I've chatted to didn't take to them at all.

If you liked the Serie A I'd be surprised if you didn't get on with the Regio. Neither were right for me though as there was an 'orange' note that was a little too pervasive.

The Regios is a good cigar but I prefer the Serie A, which I find more reliable.

Stay with the SLR serie A, flavours in the Regios are really inconsistent. I was given the remains of a box by a friend who seriously found them wanting & I've prompted guests to smoke the rest just to get rid of them, (the cigars, that is!)..

I really like the Regios ..... but hey, I prefer egg 'n' chips to a Spanish omelette!

I had my doubts on the Regios about this time last year. Plugged and tasted nasty. Had a recent swap between yours truly and Dave for a couple of Reggies and had one a few weeks back. Faith restored as it was a killer smoke! Go for it I say!
