Hey guys, I am off on holiday in a few weeks and was wondering how you guys take your cigars, i.e just take 'em, make a small tupperdore etc. I don't want to purchase a travel humidor so I guess my question is do I need to make a small tupper, or will they be ok? I am going for 10 days by the way.
Thanks

Hi James, For a few stix, for a couple of wks hols, tubes are the easiest method. If you haven't collected enough tubes yet, then put them in a zip lock bag with a dampened cottonbud, put the bag into a tupperware box to prevent crushing.

I replied earlier but problems with interenet connection & I note it didn't get through. I use one cotton bud for a 5 stick Otter box & two cottonbuds for larger numbers in a zip lock bag. It really needs very little to keep them in tip top condition, far more problems from adding too much moisture.

I put them in tubes, a siplock bag is also ok, I also cut them before I go just to confirm they have a good draw, nothing worse than to light one up and find it is plugged, also forgetting you have a cutter in your hand luggage and it is confiscated
I already have my holiday smokes picked out and none of them 'look' to have a bad draw from what I can see, but, I did just buy a new Xikar cutter and really don't want to leave it on holiday so I may cut them before I go, good idea mate
