El Rey del Mundo - Choix Supreme
------------------------------------------
Length: 5" (127mm)
Ring Gauge: 48
Appearance: Slightly veiny, light brown wrapper.
Cut: Punch
Impression:
The draw is perfect. Lovely and free. Ever so slight spice & pepper. Mild to medium.
Beautiful plumes of smoke. Light creamy coffee notes, along with toasted caramel.
First thoughts are: this is a lovely cigar. Very enjoyable.
Further in, the toasted caramel is still there. A nice creamy smoke.
I am still impressed and halfway through.
Nearing the end now and the experience has remained consistent, which is a good thing.
Only when the burn line reaches the band am I noticing the experience starting to diminish.
One touch up required, as the burn line was pretty wavy.
But overall a very, very good cigar!
I am partial to my BHK 52s, and this was like a mellower version.
Clearly a light to medium smoke. Creamy and enjoyable!
My overall smoking time was approx 45-50 mins.
I would LOVE to stock up on these, but so far acquiring the box dates has proved difficult.
Does anyone who has experience of these have any recommednations as to which date smoke the best?
Are these good young, or aged? etc? Any info appreciated.
Regards.
