The first one of a bunch of five (May '11) purchased from Andy, fellow UKCF member. My first Reyes and indeed my first Trinidad.Well now I know why these get such rave reviews, what a great smoke! Fantastically constructed with a very attractive, oily wrapper. It's almost unbelievable how much is packed in to such a small cigar.Wonderful caramel flavours through the first 1/3 which gave way to sweet woods, just a touch of spice and a terrific grassy flavour.Finishing off with a caramel/chocolatey wafer taste through to the end.
Without doubt the finest minuto that I've personally had.It was stronger than I expected also and it seems to me that it almost demands to be smoked at a later point in the day rather than be "dismissed" as the cigar you have with your morning coffee,as I just did (I hope that comes across as I mean it to ) This cigar just burnt my lips and my fingers and without even a hint of harshness,I expect I'm not alone in wishing that it was a lot bigger.Expensive, certainly, but in the smoking you see why.I had no intention, going in,of writing down any kind of review but it was one of those that I enjoyed so much I wanted to get my thoughts down somewhere, and there's nowhere better than here.I think I'll have to get a box of these in now after that
