Review of 2010 - Best New Cigar & Best Smoke

As December rapidly approaches it's time to look back on 2010 through a cloud of cigar smoke.

What is:
1. - The best new cigar this year?

2. - The best cigar you have smoked this year?

I will kick off:
1. The R&J Wide Churchill, tasty, competent and a really great smoke.
2. This year I discovered the Trinidad Fundadores (Thanks to Magali at Selfridges) and I love them to death!!

I've had a relatively light smoking year compared to last, haven't tried many of this years releases but:

2 - edmundo dantes 08

1. Haven't tried any of this years new releases but I loved last years Upmann LE. Great cigar
2. Best cigar I've had this year was back in Feb: JL Maximos Swiss LE. Nothing has trumped it....yet

1. I haven't smoked any of the Cuban 2010 releases yet. So best new smoke for the year (so far). NUB 358 Connecticut ? Torpedo.
2. Most memorable. Padron 1964 Anniversary Series ? Corona.

Partagas LE 2010 - Possibly the strongest Cigar I have ever sampled.
H. Upmann Magnum 48 LE - Goes to show that some H. Upmann's do bite!

NB - I am trying really hard not to smoke young cigars as I feel they are rarely at their best and can sometimes taint ones view. For instance I have put down a box of the Montes and the Party EL 10's but will not smoke one for a couple of years (at least that is the plan ).

I put these up for both categories, I appreciate they are a 2008 release but I've only just received them from KC at Infifon, tried for 18 mths to get them at Pudong duty free ..
