Hi Bop, how are they when you gently squeeze them if they still feel dry , leave them and forget them for 2/3 months more, hard to tell from photo if they are fakes. They are a big cigar and may need longer, best of luck.
I have an open junior and the band is embossed but it's a very new cigar, if it had a decent long filler in odds are it's probably o.k, give it some time and re-test!
I have had Edmundos with and without the embossed label, so I would not worry too much about that, however I know for a fact that there are a lot of fakes in the Carribean.

Sorry to state the obvious but if it tastes sh1t and smokes shit then it is sh1t regardless of embossing (I have seen both on genuine Monte's).
Look at the source - unknown in the Caribbean, look at the smoking experience - not good. All things being equal it is a fake but if you really care perform an autopsy on the other one (Eggy will somke anything so this route may not provide any concrete scientific feedback )

Little medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these
from my local supply, monte 4 & 5 lighter colour band , no emboss, edmundo and petit Edmundo both has darker embossed.
its hard to judge by the band, trusted source is the way to go, otherwise, only taste can tell which is kind of diffiuclt unless you have long experience with a particualr smoke
