Anyone one ever get a particularly good run of cigars?

I've had probably the most enjoyable couple of weeks smoking I've ever had. Flavours have been distinct and delicious, the cigars have been smooth and without a harsh note. The funny thing is I've not really ventured outside of my usual rotation of regular production sticks- a party short, boli pc, monte 3, monte 2- I've just hit a real purple patch but have no idea if it's me or just good luck. I've experienced the opposite in the past, with a run of bad tasting cigars. Anyone else experience this?

I had the same recently. I think it's just a matter of your taste buds. When I am not feeling 100%, the flavours are bad. More to do with us,rather than the Cgars I'd say.

Can't say that I have. I've had a period when my palate has become jaded and I then smoke something completely different which seems to readjust it. Usually a Drew Estate Java Maduro.

plus warm evenings and no high winds have been a pleasure.

Hoyo Du Maire's and ERDM Demi Tasse's for breakfast that have been so "on" that I could chain smoke them all day.

HdM Epi 2's, Party E2's, HUHC's, RACA's.

The temp and humidity must be in the sweet spot at the moment. Hope it continues! My Party Shorts have been unbelievable, I've been lighting another immediately after finishing.

I've hit both great and poor patches. Great sees consumption go up but poor sees it come down as my humidor only usually has a limited choice at any one time due to purchasing budget restrictions.
one day I'll build up a decent collection to enable a variety to be chosen. 😆

I've only had one, I was a bit new to the hobby to have much of an informed opinion, and now I gather these are getting very hard to come by? Shame.

Yes, they are quite hard to come by and some seem to think that they have been discontinued. A few of us are on the hunt for these and had some success. Some boxes are still floating around, one just has to be at the right place at the right time.
