  • Cigar Boxes in Desktop Humidors

    Hello Guys

Hope everyone is enjoying the sun and Storms!

Do any of you smokers store boxes/cabinets of cigars in a desktop humidor? i have a box of Partagas Serie C No3 on the way, but really don't want to be taking them out of the box! Any of you guys store boxes of Cigars in desktops before, any advice and pictures would be great!

    Cheers

I think you'll struggle to fit a box into a desk top humi tbh. You could alwaysput the sticks in the humi and keep the box for the inevitable cigar cabinet that you WILL but lol

A cooler box is what I keep my very limited selection of boxes in.

I use one of the bigger lock + lock boxes for cabs/boxes

Bottom box in this stack is holding about 75 cigars in boxes, with room left

Anyone with OCD dont look at the pics.
i keep my boxes in my home made humi cab and the ones that dont fit or are not full go in the magic cupboard above the stairs that keeps a RH of 64/66 without any sort of humidity device.

putting a box in a humi could also soak up humidity if im not mistaken. It could cause a drop in humidity level.

I've got quite a large desktop Humidor and I considered but due to the ever expanding collection I have now put a few cigars from each box in the Humi and then have a cooler for all my boxes.

                            Cigar Boxes in Desktop Humidors

For the OP, I'd say if you've got them on the way and they will fit in your desktop, use it. I've a few boxes (up to about PC size) in a couple of larger desktops. Whilst it's not the most aesthetic, there's no dramas doing it. As SimonG said your humidity may be effected, so keep on top of your RH for a few days, and once you've got that settled, it'll be fine.

Thanks for all the advise guys, some good info there, i'm gonna take them out the box for now, as there taking up to much space!.

I can defiantly see where the Adorini Habana Humidor is a good concept, for someone like me who cant afford to many boxes of 25s, but would like to collect boxes of 10 here and there its perfect. anyone have experience with this humidor?

Also a cheeky snap of my delivery
