Hi, not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but have tried using the hyperlink icon but it seems to create a separate link on the post, rather than on the selected text?

Yeah that's what it does.
If you want a hyperlink in your text click on "Toggle Advanced Editor" on the right of the reply box, i.e. the underlined A button. Then you'll have other options.

I just got it to create a hyperlink on the text ok rather than insert a separate link into the post/comment. But as I said earlier didnt work from my mobile. Only worked from my desktop.

1. Type in your text
2. Select the text you want to turn into a link to highlight it
3. Press the link button image.png
4. Paste the URL into the box
5. Press OK
6. Save your post comment
7. Click your linked text as much as you like!
