I don't really know how VB works, or what it requires as a background sample.

The yellow stripe you've got on now isn't bad really, I can simulate almost any real world materials, metals, woods, stone, marble.

Just done some corp logos that incorporate a gold flecked black marble effect, took bloody ages to get right.

I'll try and have a look at some other VB sites to see what the limitations are.

Have a think if there is anything else that needs doing.

Time to journey to the Post Office to pick up some sticks that were delivered whilst away.

I prefer the style of #2 but if the Cohiba style logo has to go then I'm happy with the Union Flag cigar band of #5. I don't see the point of having 'totalmente a mano' TBH

I'm worried while the labels look good being cut off on the image when placed on the site they will just end nowhere leaving them ending oddly.

Also I'm not sure on the left hand side Union Jack label. I think the black text is difficult to make out.

Obviously the cigar band would be fleshed out, I just threw some shapes down so give an idea.

Liking number 6 but perhaps theunion flag should be in shades of grey or silver or gold to tone a little better with the rest of the banner. Saying that I like hencore's cigar band style too

I'm quite liking Hencore's mock-up. At the very least, I think that band is an improvement on that found in header 6, though the font in the latter is quite nice. I'm wondering if it could have a sort of burnt or stamped look to go along with the homage to a cuban box stamp.

For me I love the Union Jack, I hate the thought that it has (in recent times) been perceived by some as a kind of fascist/BNP symbol and I think the only way to prevent that sentiment is to use it as much as possible. No surrender to the raciest, reclaim our flag!
