I like it! i wouldnt worry too much about the copyright issue with the band but it would be nice to have something less sterotypical than a cohiba band

I'd like to echo pretty much everything said. Very nice mock up, I prefer the second to the first. If the font were to be tweaked, I think it would be better much closer the that in the second than the first.

As for the Cohiba style band... I'm not hugely worried. I can't see any legal problems, I think burner's onto something - more of an homage than an infringement. That said, it is a little cliched perhaps, and I'd be interested to see an original interpretation.

Very nice though. I like the box effect background and seal.

How about incorporating a forum cigar band that at some point we could get made into cigars? Liking the wood effect too.

I don't think there are any significant IP issues. I think Cohiba have far more concerns with the endless use of their brand on non-official merchandise and sticks.

It would be good to have something original though...

Just a thought ...why not try a few other variants on the same theme (label colours etc.... silver may well work well instead of yellow, perhaps stripes instead of dots etc). But I do really like it though

Of course it isn't a bad bit of advertising for them as everyone in the cigar world will know where the band came from and subliminally have Cohiba in their face every time they are on the forum. Could always pass it by them and ask their permission?!?!

I think I prefer version number 2 at present. Great idea but the smoke under the writing blurs the whole image to my eyes.

I'd still go for the second option. The third's not too bad... But, I really do like the box/wood effect.
