            But seriously ...probably good not to confuse a privately run forum by friends for a democracy.

            We choose to post here, nobody forces us. If I were a mod I may feel quite insulted by this thread (even though I know no malice was intended).

            IMHO it is entirely up to the mods and owners how they choose to run their forum and entirely up to the other members if they choose to post.

                      A little birdy told me that this issue is being addressed. Yes there are plenty of annoyed members at the moment but I'd just like to throw a little calming influence in here. I'm new here but I can assure you that what has gone on recently is unlikely to continue. Bare with Deano as he has a great forum that just needs a little tweaking. You guys by and large are great on this forum.

                        On other forums I've often seen "right to free speech" claimed by trolls & used by mod's (incorrectly) not to remove posts that in all reality would be better unseen.

                          It's true, I was thinking about posting something like that myself.

                          As much as I personally feel that things can get out of hand on this forum and some things should not be said and some things should be. At the end of the day this is a provate forum which is owned by one individual (that we know of). He can make the rules and in effect do what he wishes to.

                          Nobody is being forced to read/post here so if we do not like it then we can leave. We are all BOTL but that does not mean we have a right to be involved in how things are run. But we are allowed to have a say in how we think things should be run.

                          Full circle...........Deano is the owner and senior BOTL. What he says goes...end of story.
