I had the problem again - could not see my respsonse/posts/who's on line/ etc.

So I cleared the "cache" again and it worked....again!


I hope to isn't a continuing problem!

And for once all was OK on my end ! LOL
Must be a young BOTL thing ! Although I have noticed
when using comit the chatters seem to lie one on top of the other.
Use to be spread out so I could see each and every one seperatly.
But At least I'm not getting cut short.
Today I'm trying to Comit with 2 and one over laps the other

I'm pretty sure this is due to the cometchat upgrade I did yesterday. Have now disabled it.

I'd suggest clearing your cache and cookies.

Seems to be working now I've gotten rid of cometchat - will have to investigate further tomorrow, for now it's off.

Well that doesn't appear to be it...currently have no idea what's causing the cookie problems we're seeing.

Well, it didn't work, but it's getting more interesting.


My last post (#19) showed up on the Forums page, but when I go into the tread, it's not there. And the Home Page no longer shows up.

All plugins are currently disabled and we have a skeleton site until it's fixed.

The forum does not seem to be updating until you clear the cache. I had to clear my cache in order to see senor roll-on's last post (#22 I think). I thought it was just mine, but no updating takes place until the cache is cleared.

Yet I could see that the young lad had added a new post to this thread on the Forum's Page.

...AND WHAT THE FUCK IS A "CACHE," ANYWAY???

Yeh it's only a temporary fix...raised tickets with support

I've had various problems just now:

- had to log in (should log in automatically & not changed my cookie etc settings)
- Sent a PM a couple of days ago, had no response. Can't find "sent message" when searching PM's to check when sent.
- Checking up on the recipient states he has been "active" since I sent the PM, but when searching all messages sent by recipient, nothing appears from after I sent PM
- Searching "forums": last message in "Herfs Etc" is on the subject of Geneva, but this message doesn't appear when clicking on "Herfs etc"
- Can't get the Home page up.
