In the (CLOSED) thread Stop CAPITALISING all the thread titles why is it that only moderator types can comment on this (supposedly) closed thread whilst us little people (without whom this forum would just be a lot of empty espace) can only look on longingly?
I didn't think a sticky was necessarily closed to be honest Rokkit. If Deano thinks no-one should have posted up afterwards, and the lack of access has offended, perhaps it can be cleaned up? Out of curiosity, have you tried to post on there?

Edit: when not logged in, it is 'closed' I've just noticed.
Reply icon? There's not even a freaking Mother Teresa icon. No icons a tall. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nichts. Bupkis. There's nothing to click on except that tiny, little, wee thingie sticking out of your zipper.
From what I gather, the thread is closed and regular members can't reply. The vB software is set up so that Moderators/Admin can reply to closed topics. It is easy to not notice a subject is closed when you have mod/admin powers. I have done it plenty of times myself
We all get saved by the bell! in the end its a win,win situation and nobody admits defeat< Their all winners! Good point gentleman( and I use that word loosely these days)

Hoi introduced himself as this nice, Hawaiian fellow, told us all about his growing up in the cane fields amongst the snakes and frogs and stuff and how he and the other little boys would go out at night and catch armadillos and play jai alai with their shells. You know... normal childhood things. But he had the bad judgment to post pictures of something he was doing behind this beached whale that -- I guess -- Deano thought was inappropriate for this forum. I don't know. I saw the picture and the whale looked pretty happy to me.
