Not so much an error but a query. Is there a inactivity time out on the forum? I often find that I am logged out without warning when I refresh the thread list after a period of inactivity.

I do regularly clear out the cache/cookies weekly. When it happens the thread list refreshes as normal the only difference being the times drop an hour, which indicates that I am not logged in. When I then check, right enough I am a guest.
I just put it down to a maximum idle login limit.
No big issue at all, but would be curious if anybody else has encountered this as it should not be happening as you say Deano.

My tech knowledge goes as far as "turn it off and turn it back on"
(That's after I've hit it)
Hitting it is definitely the first course of action. If that doesn't work then it's probably something serious. I kept a bad TV working for two years using this method.
I've experienced login problems on my girlfriend's computer recently, on both IE and Firefox. I'll try and duplicate it this weekend and see what causes it. I often need to login several times before it 'sticks'.
Get Firefox Paulie....100% recommended. IE8's dreadful in comparison plus Firefox had 100s of cool add-ons like Autopager and things that sync your bookmarks etc....wonderful program
