    Tapatalk.

    This is getting right on my tits now this app.

    Once again, I log onto the forum this morning, after not being able to get on since yesterday, and when I click
    'New Posts' there is nothing there. Tapatalk is marking everything as read, even though I am not using it.
    I have logged out of the Tapatalk app for now.

    I want to keep it for notification purposes, but is there any way I can stop it from marking all new posts as read?

    Seedy can't help, but it just reminds me how I think its ridiculous there are apps for everything these days.... What happened to a good old web browser that grants access to every internet resource available? Why is the world trying to jump backwards and have individual applications for specific Internet content.

    Im yet to find a forum app that IMO actually feels as nice to use as a standard forum in browser anyway.

      Yes, I only use the tapacrap for uploads. The UI on the web is much better IMO. Tapacrap seems to have little 'on show' IYKWIM.

      Sorry, I can't help either. Perhaps just use the browser, which I know doesn't answer the question but it's a solution. I imagine someone techy will be along in a while.

        The main problem I have with Tapatalk is that it sometimes just misses random post in a thread, but other than that I don't have many problem, I haven't noticed that it marks posts as read (but that might be because I don't see that post as its been marked read!)

        I disagree VTG, I often find apps better that the internet browser, they're much more simple to use and not a fiddly, especially when there isn't a mobile friendly version of a site

                This does not happen all the time. It only seems to happen when I go maybe 24 hours without logging in.
