February photo contest........disappointed.

Ben we've all been in the same boat and just had to get involved in the forum all good things come to those who wait .

I'm fully aware of the rules and am more than happy with reasons they are in place.
Being a long standing member of another specialist forum with umpteen 1000s of post I've seen many people come and go for not abiding with the rules played out.

Keen to get involved in this as I like a dabble with photography myself, but completely understand why you need rules and happy to abide by them. Im sure there will be quiet months when not many people contribute but thats just the nature of forums.

Thanks guys, haven't been doing it that long myself but do love it.

All digital photography needs some amount of processing to bring the best out of a photo , by that I mean sometimes tweaking contrast, light levels etc. Some photographers take this too far with strange effects etc and I must admit I do prefer a natural looking photo.

Thanks mate, just seen your pics- looking good. You've got some great ones of flowers with the shallow depth of field. Liked the bee one very much.
