Can we please have some clarification on this announcement.

Does it mean that a member without PM's may not post to try and get around the rules, or simply no
posting in that forum full stop?
I have been posting in there simply admiring the bombs that have been fired around, and I have also
taken an interest in the photography competition thread.

Should I stop posting in there for the time being?

Doesn't voting really equate to participating in those particular forums? Posting equates to participation, so I'd see it as no voting otherwise it's a bit of a farce running a parallel thread so that the no post rule could be circumnavigated. It's not my call, but you could run parallel threads to comment on all those that have restrictions. I know that's very unlikely to happen but it could.

That's what mods are for it not, to intercept breaches of the rules. If we can't have open voting then the photo competition will wither and die.
