It might be contentious, but we've had members, some new, some old who have posted their email addys for their ultimate advantage.

We've seen one member, sadly deceased (and with no reference to the above) who posted his email
up once and subsequently received a barrage of offensive emails and shite.

The current rule is a safe and protective one IMHO.
