New theme and logo etc

Thinking of getting these guys http://www.purevb.com/custom-vbulletin-skins/ (or similar) to do a custom theme and logo for the site.

Looking at $250+ I think when you add a couple of options in, but they do look bloody good, and it would be nice to add some 'professionalism' to an otherwise boring site.

Any thoughts?

I think it's a topping idea! The sites functionality is all fine and dandy, but it does look a little 2004.

I really like the Reserva and Gran Reserva black and silver/gold minimalistic look

Ah good, nice response! I'll obviously chip in a bunch too, and keep it very transparent so I can't be accused of stealing money...

I like the idea of you all giving some suggestions too (e.g. AdamK's suggestion), and see if we can't come up with some ideas pre-purchase. They're quite flexible though.

I'd prefer a 'lighter' forum than something darker, don't think they look as inviting or clean.

I think you're right, would probably be a bit doom and gloom if it was a black background.
Light and inviting must be the way to go!

Lighter is better otherwise people will think we are a private members club rather than the bright, light, free (within legal limits) and friendly place that we all love.
