Lads and lassies, lend me your ears, (I also take cigars and puros),

I think senor serious has made a genuine attempt with this thread to solicit ideas on how we can improve this already fine forum and move forward - INTO THE FUTURE!

But we've gotten a wee bit off course - and I'm as guilty as the next for the awful condition - hanging by a thread, so to speak.


So I think it would be nice to see if we can get this thing back on course.


What do you say lads? Are with with me?
Do we have anymore sincere suggesting that will help senor find his way "home?"

Well TJ some good sense in your post for those of us who could understand it..but & I would have asked you this in private if I could..
Why is Dean attacking me in his posts..all I have done is offer constructive suggestions to his original OP..I would ask him directly but he fails to grasp my use of the English language..perhaps you can help..I cannot see one thing in this thread that I'm being accused of & it get's extremely irritating!
If he wants me to bite so he can ban me, just let him say so & I'll take a chunk..but I've been trying to help out here and getting abuse for it..

It's a fair question, senor diddy, but not an easy answer, unfortunately.

As a modulator, I have the advantage of seeing it from both sides. And I can honestly say that I don't believe senor serious intends for his posts to be viewed as "attacking" you, although I can see how others without my advantage might see it differently. But he can speak for himself.

And as you know, I've been a supporter of yours and many others who no longer post here - in the good time and bad - and hope the kind of issues we are currently experiencing can be resolved swiftly so that we can get on with the Good Times; something that used to flourish wall-to-wall around these parts...and still can, if we all work at it , in my humble opinion.

Anyway, there have been a few reasonable suggestions, (more tolerance, comes to mind) and I hope we see more suggestions that we all can embrace.

On a side note, I heard from a old timer recently who used to post up quite a bit around these parts who sadly said that he did not recall the forum ever being like it is today. He's right and I would add that we can return to the glory days - like the phoenix from the ashes - if we all pull the together and start rowing in the same direction.

Attacked you? Not once. I've only responded to your slightly over-dramatic statements, it's called defence not attack. You seem to only see it from your own stand point Puff, and once responded to, feel awfully hard-done-by.
