Warning for Mac Users!! iPhoto 11

Quick heads up for any Mac users on the forum thinking of purchasing an upgrade this weekend.

Being a consumate Mac head, I invested in iLife 11' (iPhoto, iMovie, iWeb, Garageband)

It's the first Mac upgrade I've ever done (done literally thousands over the last two decades!) that has had such a significant issue.

In laymans terms, If you upgrade your iPhoto, it may corrupt/remove your current library of photos.

Took my 137GB of photos reduced it to 8GB of unreadable data!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luckily I have a parallel backup (Time Machine) so can just restore, others haven't been so lucky.

Thanks for the heads up, the missus would of went spare if I'd of lost all her pictures! (she still hasn't forgive me for updating her iPhone 3G to 4.0 yet haha)
