Ipad Screen Recorder!

I'm looking for a way to download a screen recorder to my ipad air. After searching on the google, I tried Cydia and Shou via emu4iOS (not certain these are correct names or spelling) with no success.

Emu4iOS downloaded an icon but it won't load.

Anybody have experience in this areas?

No, it records the screen like a video. There are lots of examples showing how it works on the interwebs, but none of the methods I've seen seem to work without doing a so-called "jail break!"

I don't think it can be done without jailbreak.... for two reasons; Firstly the small matter of coppy protection that Apple are dead against, Second for your protection to stop App developers infringing your privacy.

The only way I see around it is to airplay your content to a receiver and record with a third party device..... that's if it isn't protected by some macrovision style protection.

Do you have a Mac? if so, check out X-Mirage.

The way I understand it, you mirror onto your desktop and then record from there. But it has to be Mac apparently.

Haha! No, no mac, jac. As the thread title suggests, I'm looking to download a screen recorder onto an IPad Air to record the iPad screen.

You need something called Shou.

Follow this link for a walk through of how to "Side Load" it.... It's not jailbreakig it, but it's an unofficial App Store type of thing.

Long story short:

1: Go to Emu4iOS.net
2: Download their Emu4iOS Store
3: Set the store to trusted and download "Shou" from there
4: Use Shou
5: Smoke a fine Puro as you record you iPad without jail breaking
