if you have a Mac and are thinking of upgrading to Yosemite think again and wait till Apple release the fix that doesn't fuck up Safari and make it work like a Windows Vista machine.

I updated today and so far it seems ok. UI is different but no discernible bugs. The iPhone 6 has clammed up a couple of time and I'm guessing it's just the latest iOS 8 that needs its first few tweeks. I have to say I find all apple stuff works well compared to the alternative. I never got on well with windows and yes that probably is because I'm not a tech geek but for idiot proof user experience apple have me.Comment

Interesting, the phone it was designed for is having some issues. Having said that the problem I have is within a particular app. It could be the app developers fault. It's a game called Real Racing 3 and the phone has frozen and closed the app on me.Comment

afaik you can't put ubuntu on your phone..... It's awesome for computers though, if you're fed up with the cackness of windows.
It's linux based - same as Android.
Oh Apple - your current incarnation seems to have fallen quite far from the tree - they're living on past glory and have lost the ability to innovate, relying on their ability to litigate.
Chrome OS is excellent - I use my chromebook in preference to my windows laptop for pretty much everything but newsgroups.
And my Chromebook, phone and tablet cost less than a new iphone 6
