iOS 8 update

Just noticed after updating I cant upload pics to the forum from my iPad air anyone else noticed this ?

New update should resolve the issue, it specifically mentions a fix for uploading pics in 3rd party apps.

Schoolboy question here: do you have to update to ios 8 before the new ios 8.0.2? I'm guessing that as the latter is a fix, I would but wanted to ask. Any input is appreciated.

I think it will just install the latest full version, I'd be surprised if it didn't show as 8.0.2 after the install.

I've just checked on my phones which is still running iOS7, it's definitely 8.0.2 that it would update to.

you do not.
updating versions doesn't require the old information. you're just essentially downloading more material and erasing broken material. that's what updates are.

downloading 8.0,2 means that you download less broken stuff and more fixed stuff - an update. might take a minute more to download than people with 8.0.0. one can technically redownload iOS 6.0.0 if they wanted. Then when realising the dated material, switch right back to 8.0.2
