    Heyy mates,

So I'm pretty new here and don't have much variety. I'm hoping to expand my range much further here.
For the past year I've just stuck with Cohiba Siglo III and Esplandidos, R&J Churchills and #2s and Monty # 2 and 4s.
I love pairing them with single malts and meat fresh from the barbie.

General interests include Chemistry, Sleeping and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Side note: Canada has an "awesome" liquor and tobacco tax. Shite costs around 50% more expensive around here if you just want a couple of sticks or a 75 of liquor.

Hi Jeremy, and welcome to UKCF! Can't go wrong with a bit of SRV (unless I try to play his music).

Welcome to the forum Jeremy. The UK is pretty 'awesome' with its tax system too

                  Hello and welcome

My last experience of Canada was some rather delicious maple syrup

What are your favourite whiskies to pair with a cigar?

Hi BNSP, Welcome onboard & hope you enjoy our forum, always good to have one of our colonian cousin signing up Sound like you have a good regular selection of smokes there. Have you been to Cuba yet? I met plently of Candians there, it's a cheap holiday for them (cost me 4grand).

                        hello and thank you
haha, we take that stuff red hot and rub it in fresh snow and eat it like that, try that sometime!

what i have most of the time is the Cragganmore with RYJ. just contrast between the creamy, smooth taste of Cragganmore 12 with a more harsher cigar. However, I could find many things going well with a Cragganmore 12. I also enjoy the Dalmore 15 (or older) with any other siglos (most of the time just the siglo III cause i have an excess of those right now. What's your take?
I just got myself a cheap Aberlour 12 and wanna match that with a RYJ #2 in the next few days. See where that'll lead me..

I think i've a "good selection" but it doesn't seem "awesome" haha. What else is near the RYJ price range that's as good as well?

and yupp, just came back in January. But they cancelled all trips to the city so i couldn't get anything except for some weird weird Guantanameras and cohiba cigarillos.
Spent 900 dollars for a 11 day resort pass (with open bar) plane tickets were around 120ish? 1020 CAD which is around 650 quid. 4 grand seems WAAAAY too much then, geez.

4K did cover flights from Brussels, 5 nights in Havana & 9 nights in Valdero, transfers ect. Luckily we had it as our belated Honeymoon &20th Wedding Anniversay holiday. Be a while until we can afford to return but it was worth every penny for the insight into Cuba & the other side of the cigar business that we never see over here.
If you do a search back to Feb 2011 posts, you'll see 11 posts I made about the trip & some photos you might enjoy. Also see the haul I brought back, still smoking them!
