  • Good day to you all

    Morning!

I'm new here (obviously, hence posting in this part of the forum!) and am somewhat new to cigars. I have lurked here for a bit and intend to do so for a while longer, or at least until I have gained more knowledge and experience. This place certainly seems to have some very knowledgable people!

Any other users from Cornwall on here?

Thanks very much everyone! And Agricola yeah I have. I've smoked cigars in the past around the ages of 20-22 but it was only comercially available stuff which wasn't Cuban or anything else at all special. A few years back my sister went to Cuba and brought back a box of Guantanameras (which I seem to recall never thinking much of) and a couple of Cohibas (again I probably got through them when I wasn't really able to appreciate!).

Recently though I've tried a Romeo Y Julieta No. 2 (tubed) cigar whch I rather enjoyed. I also have a tubed Oliva Serie O and a Montecristo Petit Tubo awaiting a go. Recently a work colleague went to the Dominican Republic and bought back a few cigars for me, I don't think they are anything special (I can't find any info about them online) but I enjoyed what I tried.

So yeah, I am a bit new to it all but I have found many of the reviews I have read on here fascinating and look forward to getting stuck in. My biggest problem is that money is not something I have lots and lots of (plus a lot of my money goes on buying beer and records... maybe I need to curb that a little) so I will just get what I can as and when I can afford it!
