Hi all! I have just registred and wish to introduce myself with a few words.
I'm a 43 y.o. cigar lover, having been a cigar smoker since mid-80's. I live in a small Swedish town called Gr?nna (Graenna) which is also known as the Rock Candy Capital of the World. (Well, at least the guys making our traditional red-and-white rock candy thinks we are...)
(I'm also an ex-Londoner, having lived there for some time in the mid-90's. My eldest son was actually born at Guy's Hospital!)
At daytime I work as the curator at the Museum of the fairly well-known Swedish company of Husqvarna PLC in the neighbouring town of Huskvarna. When I have time over, I work with my blog, or rather dictionary published in a blog form, The Dictionary of Swedish Cigar words.
Occasionaly I will post questions regarding British cigars, cigar customs, tobacco history etcetera. Hopefully, you guys may enlight me!
My username is inspired by an old Swedish cigar brand (now defunct), although it may sound a bit Dutch. The van Baars cigars was Dutch in style, relying heavily on Java and Sumatra tobaccos.
