Hello from a Birmingham newbie

Hi all, I have just joined the forum and looking forward to chatting to fellow cigar lovers. I have spent some time in America recently where I frequented a fantastic cigar bar which has really started me on the path of wanting to enjoy a smoke more regularly. So just purchased a few cigars from simply cigars on line, and looking out for places near by I can go and enjoy them. However I am a beginner I suppose and really enjoying learning more.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the welcome it's great to be on here.

Rather excited I have ordered a Nub sampler, not sure what to expect but heard some good things. I live in the city, have no balcony and not allowed to smoke indoors so I am going to have to keep hold of them for a few weeks until I am off away to the country for a few days where I will have a fab garden to relax in with those monsters.

Anyone smoked any of the Nub range?

Hi Ricky. I know how you feel. I live in a no smoking room with a wired-in smoke alarm, so there is no chance I can risk it. From one newbie to another: Welcome.

Hi Ricky - I've tried the Nub sampler, not too bad overall, my favourite ones were the two Sungrown, smooth & creamy with enough flavours to keep it interesting.

Sounds like a complete pain mate. I really enjoy smoking cigars but have a huge problem in finding somewhere to do it. I don't really feel comfortable smoking in most beer gardens either as people just tend to think your a bit of a poser especially when none of your mates smoke cigars and don't fancy spending 40 mins plus outside with you.
How do you manage?
