Welcome and it's nice to see another RyJ fan (who isn't?), I tried a Davidoff no.1 in place of my RyJ churchill last Friday. It was a good smoke but I was left with the feeling that it was good but not "Cuban good" so to speak.

What is it about RyJ you like over other brands?

It's basically the smooth smoke the... i don't know...almost creamy almond taste i like...
More to come tho, now that i've got a humi I can start exploring a bit more.
I bought a book on cuban cigars a couple of months ago and i'm adding small post-its to pages of cigars I want to try... WIll be an expensive shopping trip that day...But sure oh so worth it.

Welcome onboard mate At least youre good lady can't say she didn't know about your habit before you married. My wife only found out when someone blabbed after my Stag Night. Not that it was a secret but I guess I was just a rather occasional smoker in those days. Being married for almost twenty yrs has driven me to weekly indulgence for my sanity. Have a great stag yourself, just look out for the spies from the other camp

Hello & welcome! I'm new round these parts too, still working through a box of RyJ Coronitas en Cedros that came back from Cuba with me 6 weeks ago! Setting up my first Humi has been interesting fun - I keep trying to resist opening the lid each time I walk past it!

Which book did you go for? I'd like to pick something up for some additional reading material...
