In terms of suggestions, you are literally a kid in a candy store. I can just picture you starting every day peering into the humidor figuring what to try today.
I love Trinidad cigars and they are good for a new cigar smoker as they won't knock you off your perch but they are tasty and complex and age really well. Start with the Reyes and work your way up is my recommendation and don't forget to tell us what you smoked and what you thought so we can make more suggestions.
Haha, it takes a lot of restraint not to blow all my wages as soon as soon as I get them. As far as suggestions go, I meant more as in where's good for newbies on the forum, but I'm sure I'll figure it out . But any smoke suggestions are always welcome .
Current faves have been partagas in general, juan lopez SS, monte no 5, upmann no 2 and petit upmanns. I've found I don't really like romeos, hoyos or cuabas (which is a shame as I love the perfecto shape).
We met for the training at Barlounge and smoked some well aged H.Upmann Magnum 48s afterwards - if I remember correctly.
Did you get the chance to smoke any of Hamlet's fresh cigars?
Jimmy
Yep, that's me! Good to hear from you, how're you? Those were lovely smokes and def v needed, considering the previous few hours had basically been spent talking about how good havanas are .
Got a couple of hamlets cigars, had one fresh but found it a bit too wild for me. putting the other one aside for a bit, can't wait to see how it is once it's had time to rest
