hello and I'm going to reccomend a cigar that will no doubt earn me the scorn of many here but what the hell. If you're just starting to smoke cigars I'd say try buying a box of Guantanamera Cristales. Thay are light easy going cigars and quite nice in my opinion as I prefer mild to light cigars myself.

Also they are very low priced Cubans, sure they are not going to take any awards away from RyJ or Montecristo but the price reflects that. Also you're going to be learning about cutting, lighting, smoking and keeping cigars so if you make any mistakes it won't cost you your stash of expensive Cubans.

It's about ?25 a box of 5 and ?15 for 5 of the smaller compay cigars. The Cristales are already cut and ready to smoke but it gives you an idea of where to cut a larger cigar when doing it yourself. I only recently began to smoke cigars and the Cristales tasted nice and were an inexpensive way to put theory into practice.

BTW I inhale maybe 3 times with a cigar, the rest is as said tasting the smoke in my mouth or through my nostrils. I suppose it's down to preference really unless there is an ettiquette when you're smoking in company?

No scorn from me at all - try anything once, if you don't then you can't have an opinion...
Only my suggestion would be buy a single Guantanamera if you can, not a box!
PM me an address & I'll send you a vintage one - I'm not going to smoke it!!

                              Welcome bonjour and HI.

                              Don't inhale...

Also about appreciating the flavour it comes with experience I say and also maybe having a drink.. doesn't necessarily have to be alcoholic either
