    Hi everybody,

I have decided to join the forum after lurking on and off since December when I first got into the world of cigars. It all started after I came across a video on my Youtube feed by Dry Creek Wrangler School talking about why he smokes cigars. This sent me down a massive rabbit hole of learning about anything I could to do with cigars.

After spending many hours looking at different sticks I ordered a couple of Perdomo 10th anniversary Connecticut robusto, a xikar cutter and a jet lighter. I enjoyed the first one on a crisp December morning with a coffee, very much enjoyed it and have carried on since. I have only smoked around 15 or so since then but lately have bought a small desktop humidor and made some orders to get it filled up.

Anyway this is getting a little long for an introduction so I will just say I'm looking forward to joining in the forum conversations and learning more from you all.

    Cheers
    Joe

Welcome onboard Joe, sure you'll learn a lot on here, plenty of very experienced members, happy to share. Already sounds like you're on a hte slippery slope of a new hobby, sad you join us when prices have gone from crazy to indefensible.
Small plug for my own pages, if you are interested in learning about Cuban cigars, check out Simon B's Encyclopedia of Cuban Cigars in the Cuban Cigar Lounge.Whilst Cuban prices are the worst, IMHO they can still produce the best so perhaps treat yourself on birthdays & Christmas & that special summer BBQ

Thanks Simon, I will definitely check out the pages you mention! It is a shame about the prices. My cousin is currently on his way home from Porto and made a stop at the LCDH store for me. He got me a 3 pack of Hoyo Epicure no 2, worked out half the price it would be on sites here. So I’m looking forward to trying them.
