    Hello, everyone.

I'm Joel/Yo'el (feel free to use either), and I hail from the 'glorious' county of Bucks. Won't lie, I'm a heavy smoker, both rollies and cigars (never got on with a pipe). Mainly, it's smaller cigars given how many I get through per week; Montecristo, Cohiba, and Trinidad shorts, RyJ and Guantanamera Puritos. Now and then I venture to the 40+ guages, but now I'm in my 40s myself, I have an urge to start collecting and aging some larger ones for evenings and weekends.
Looking forward to building my knowledge here.
Outside of smoking I have a few other interests, mostly countryside pursuits, kayaking, shooting (preferably followed by cooking and eating), cooking (I said that already), restoring antique and vintage tools, refurbishing guns, militaria, gaming (still under the impression that I'm young), walking through sheep poo and mud, good quality tequilas and ales, and a host of other things that take my fancy.

Yeah, I'm as exhausted as you are after reading through that lot.

    pleasure to be here.

I’ve actually been completely off tequila for years. Couldn’t even stand to smell it (bad experiences as a “very responsible” kid.

Lately a friend of mine made me try some on the rocks, and wow was I impressed.

Casa Dragones and Clase Azul were the two, tried a couple different varieties and all were excellent with a bit of ice as a relaxed sipper.

Not bad choices at all! I much prefer the Dragones to Azul, to be fair. And prefer Casa Noble reposado to pretty much all others! Sadly, they don't come in the hand made decanters anymore.
