Welcome aboard.... Home brew coffee sounds interesting... definitely would be reading that thread.

Not sure about your set up at the moe...but I'd recommend looking at a lock and lock box...they are great and cost effective untill you've decided on an unit.

Will defo have a go at setting up some home brewing threads in the near future.

At the moment I'm storing the small number of cigars I acquire in a small tupperware box and have chucked a 65% boveda pack in there. In the long term, assuming I stick it out (😜), perhaps a reasonably priced desktop humidor with maybe a larger tupperware box for any extra acquisitions. Be interesting to see the kind of humidors for about 75 sticks or so and with a good seal/functionality members recommend.

Re accessories I've picked up a torch flame lighter and matching guillotine cutter. Will post a pic shortly.

PS robusto wise, forget the Cohiba unless you're prepared to age it for 5+ years and try a Ramon Allones Specially Selected instead.

Let the CoRos have some time resting as the guys say, and get some Medio Siglos, they smoke nicely after a couple of months.

                    Welcome to the forum!

Like most of us I'm a big coffee fan too. I currently get my beans from Rave Coffee and use a Hario V60 drip filter... I'm hoping to get a proper setup later this year (maybe I should save this for the coffee thread).

You are in the phase where you can try a bit of everything and see what works for you, it can be quite an adventure where you get to learn a fair bit too. Enjoy the ride

With the sun coming out opted to step out and smoke the RJ Mille Fleur. Pic posted above shows the stick alongside my newly acquired lighter and cutter (tried to type this text in the same post but not quite used to using forums, so please forgive the double post).

Romeo Allones had a go at inhaling whilst puffing on the cigar - took a few attempts before I could master that without inadvertently inhaling the smoke. Got there in the end and I could instantly see why that was recommended. Thanks for the additional recommendations as well. Placed an order yesterday and left the Cohiba out for now and swapped it for both the RASS and the Bolivar Royal Corona.

Quite a light but pleasant smoke which I enjoyed, especially at that time of day as it wasn't too overwhelming. The draw opened up nicely midway through with lots of smoke. Picked up on some cedar and what reminded me of a lavender like haze throughout. In terms of flavour overall it struck me as quite a mild but consistent cigar. Took me an hour and ten mins to smoke it.

Glad to see that I'm in good company and thanks for the welcome. I love brewing with the v60! It's one of my favourite filter coffee brewers. I've had some good coffees from Rave over the years. Be interesting to hear what you're thinking of getting as a proper setup - I will get on to setting that thread up!
