Hello all,

Just joined up, never really been a cigar man before but was given one at a wedding last month and thoroughly enjoyed smoking it, a nice relaxing experience. A couple of my friends enjoyed it too, so I decided to look a bit more into it and find some quality cigars to get and enjoy with friends.

I've just picked up a bit of a selection based off of recommendations ive read on here the past couple of days. The humidor is currently on order so I'm hoping it will arrive sharpish so I can keep them in good condition!

I purchased them from a shop with a walk in humidor, and ive currently got them in a zip lock bag, how long would they be okay before before they start to degrade/turn crap?

Zip lock bag ok for a week or two id guess. A boveda pack will help for sure. You can get one next day from Amazon or your b&m. That and a sealed Tupperware will last forever!

Thanks ha_banos, I've now just ordered a 4 pack of 65% Bovedas that should see me through until the humidor shows up.
By the way has anyone got any experience of ordering from germanus directly post brexit? I ordered my humidor from them the other day, and got a voicemail today from a German number but it had no sound so not sure if there's an issue. Dropped them a mail but haven't heard anything back yet

I bought a bit of a selection, I got a few each of the following from some recommendations I saw on here:

Hoyo de monterry epicure number 2
Montecristo number 4
Romeo y Juliet wide churchill
Partagas but the exact one I've forgotten!
and a mix of some local Canary Islands cigars that they had in the humidor
