Welcome, good to see another North East member, I'm in Newcastle. Can't help much with buying locally though, I pick up most of my stuff on travels.

The options locally are very limited sadly. I’m only in town probably once a year. I’ll probably get myself down to Durham more regularly from next week with the impending office return so might be able to sample some new sticks from there. The choice in the indoor market used to be good but no idea what it’s like now they’ve moved.
